Hey, there! Long time no talk but I promise that will change. I needed some time for myself, to recharge my batteries and to fill myself with inspiration. That’s why I decided to share with you my new favorite recipe – dark chocolate and oat energy bites.

I had a long period of binge eating and I needed time to get back on track. We are humans, we have these periods and that’s absolutely normal. Not to mention, we need these periods because they are part of the balance.

I am a firm believer of having a healthy lifestyle but that doesn’t mean I am leading this healthy lifestyle 100% of the time. I bet you also have these moments when you crave for chocolate.

If you follow my journey with the healthy lifestyle you might know that my biggest temptation is sweets and chocolate. I can literally live on these foods. Of course, I don’t do it. I try to eat healthy most of the time. But if you are like me you have to be a realist. I am and that’s why I decided to make another great and healthy option of a dessert.

The Dark Chocolate and Oats Energy Bites are easy to make. You don’t need much time to prepare them and the best part is you can treat yourself with them every day and stay in the best shape of your life. This recipe gives you the opportunity to experiment with what you have and develop your imagination.

If you need something healthy to move you through the day the dark chocolate and oats energy bites ate perfect for you and for your busy life.

I fell in love with them and you can find them in my kitchen almost every day.

The preparation time for the energy bites will take from 10 to 15 minutes from your schedule. Yes, you heard me right – only 10 minutes and you will have these babies.

Dark Chocolate and Oats Energy Bites

 

What you are going to need ( for 12 – 15 pieces ):

  • 1 dark chocolate
  • 1 1/2 cup of oats
  • 1 banana
  • honey of your taste – I use 4-5 spoons because I love them to be sweeter
  • vanilla extract
  • 1 spoon peanut butter
  • 1 spoon tahan
  • optional – cocoa powder, peanuts, brown or coconut sugar, cinnamon

You take all of the ingredients and mix them into your blender. Once they are mixed take small parts of the mixture and form the bites. They could be smaller or bigger, whatever you like them. You will have to make your hands dirty but it’s worth at the end.

Once the bites are ready, put them in the fridge to tighten. Then they are ready to make your day beautiful!
