What To Eat For A Beautiful Skin
Hey, lovely people!

The last two weeks were so intense since I started my blogging journey! Don’t get me wrong – it has been so great! If you are still thinking whether to start or not your journey please know it’s not that hard and you actually need much money. The plans for self-hosting start from 3.95$/month, which is nothing. So far I’ve been loving Siteground – you can take your own plan from here.
So, my point was I am super busy working my regular job, working on my blog and social media channels, doing housework and trying to spend quality time with my closest people, I hardly have time to give a full attention to my skin, which is terrible lately.
Today I want to share with you my secrets to a clean beautiful and glowing skin! They all are really easy to implement into your busy life and the cost is not so huge.
The truth is everything starts with your eating habits and there are foods, which are good not only for your health but they are important for your skin. The famous saying “You are what you eat!” is so true. You have to be very careful what you put in your mouth if you want to have a shiny and clear skin. Read until the end to see what the bonuses are.
What to eat
There are some power foods, which are going to help you to ease the problems with your skin. There are many proofs that show that diet really does affect your skin.
- Dark chocolate
This sensation is perfect for your skin because improve circulation and helps to hydrate your skin. People, who eat dark chocolate experience less skin roughness. The best thing to do is to eat only one-two blocks of dark chocolate per day because that’s the perfect quantity for your perfect skin without the weight gain. Hm, I can do that! I bet this is a good news for my fellow chocolate lovers out there!
- Oatmeal
Oatmeal is not only the best way to have a healthy breakfast, but it is the perfect fit for your amazing skin. The refined sugary carbs in the oatmeal make insulin, which increases the production of “androgen” hormones in the body. These hormones make the skin to secrete more oil that gets trapped inside the pores, which makes the pimples we all hate so much. I strongly recommend Nature’s Path Organic Oatmeal. If you are a big fan of oatmeal you can try my recipe for Healthy Banana And Lemon Oat Muffins.
- Kale
Kale is one of the best ways to have a glowing and clear skin. The ingredients in this magical cure for the skin are absorbing and neutralizing the free radicals created by UV light. It is one of the best sources of the much-needed vitamin A and C, which are very important for the health of your skin.
- Avocado
Avocados are the greatest source of biotin, which helps with problems connected to a dry skin. They are one of the best hydrants for your skin. The avocados consist vitamin E, which is beneficial not only for your health but for your perfect skin.
- Tomatoes
A paste of tomatoes can help you prevent sunburn but it has to be combined with olive oil, which is also beneficial for your skin. Tomatoes are antioxidant and they have lycopene, which slows down the damage from free radicals. You can make it like a paste soup or a salad and you are ready to work for your amazing skin.
- Salmon
This food is a real miracle for your skin. It has the richest concentration of Omega-3 fatty acids, which are great for your skin. These healthy fats reduce the production of inflammatory substances and nourish your skin. It also helps by reducing fine lines and wrinkles. If you are not the biggest fan of this treasure you would want to try this Omega 3 Fish Oil..
- Kiwi
This sweet fruit is packed with huge doses of vitamin C, which helps to maintain the collagen in our skin. Eat more of it for a firm and beautiful skin. It is not only beneficial for your skin, but for your overall health.
What to drink
- Green Tea
Green tea is something that can really help you in your fight for the dream skin. This kind of tea boosts the supply of anti-acne antioxidants. Green tea has been used for centuries for a medicinal needs, especially for the skin. It contains enzymes, amino acids, and B vitamins, which are all very beneficial for your skin care. To enhance your beauty you can use it in your beauty masks. It heals blemishes and scars, reduces puffy eyes and dark circles, fights aging signs, treats acne and pimples, and it also is a great skin toner. I love to drink this Organic Green Tea.
To sum up, everything your diet is extremely important for the clear and beautiful glow of your skin. You have to choose wisely what you eat and drink. Food can help you deal with all of your skin problems, but it can cause more of them if you are not conscious.
That’s not all.
I have 2 bonuses for you!
MMM – My Miracle Mask
I use this mask two-three times per week and I have excellent results. It is really easy and cheap, but it gives amazing results. Just take a bowl and mix some coconut oil and baking powder. I personally recommend you to use Nutiva Organic Coconut Oil. Rub it on your face gently and wash it. The feeling after this is amazing. There is no need to put a cream on your skin after the mask because the skin is soft from the coconut oil. Enjoy!
Omega-3
I mentioned the Omega-3 fatty acids when we were talking about the salmon, but I want to share again how beneficial is this for your skin, especially if you are like me and you are not the biggest fish lover. I eat fish 4-5 times per year and for me, it is really important to get the ingredients in another form, so that’s why I take Omega-3. I also use it for other reasons and I am really happy with the results I get. I use this Omega 3 Fatty Acids. I recommend it very much. Try it and you won’t regret!
Eat properly, drink green tea, make masks and take Omega-3 and very soon you will see great results for your skin!

Hey girly! Loving your site. Great start to your blogging journey. I just wanted to comment and say how much I love SiteGround as well. I use to use them for my old blog. I just recently started blogging again and looking forward to going back to self host after the holidays. Keep on creating great content!
I love your tips Monica. I’m also so terribly busy recently that I have hardly any time to look after myself. I don’t even eat properly… My secret weapon though is my collagen which I apply before my face cream before sleep, and I also take it as a supplement together with Omega 3 and vitamin C. I hope you manage to get some rest and indulge yourself a little 🙂 All the best!
I love Omega! They help for so many things! All that you do to keep your skin healthy is great! I hope to have some time for a routine! ❤
Thank you for sharing this! I love all of these and I’m always eating especially the Salmon 🙂
