Hey, lovelies! March is almost over and I decided to share my results with my new healthy lifestyle! Results from Healthy March – Eat Healthy, Exercise and Live Healthy is here to inspire you to change your lifestyle and to show you that everything is possible!
Most of you know that I suffered from an eating disorder. Not to mention, I had an anxiety and depression! After all that I learned that healthy lifestyle is really important to maintain not only a healthy body but and a healthy mind.
At the end of February, I decided that it is time for me to set myself for a challenge. That’s why I decided to create Healthy March! I wanted to learn to eat healthy, walk as much as I can, exercise daily, sleep better, and improve my mental health by reducing the stress.

If you know me you will know that I am a “never give up” type of person. Not to mention, how stubborn I can be when I want something so badly.
In summary, I will share with you that this month I decided to quit 5 awful habits I have for years. In brief – I did it! I feel very proud of myself!
As a matter of fact, in Results from Healthy March – Eat Healthy, Exercise and Live Healthy I not only going to share my results but also the techniques I used to come so far. In addition, I will share with you all my favorite sports findings for the month.
This was maybe the hardest part of the whole process for me. As I mentioned before I used to have an eating disorder. Not to mention, how obsessed I was with everything chocolate! I used to wake up at night trembling for something sweet. I would go days eating almost nothing just to lose weight. I knew this was a huge mistake but I was really obsessed with losing weight.
After all, this became a habit. An awful habit. So my main intention for the month was to eat at least 3-4 times per day. Also, I didn’t want to cut myself from sweet. I needed to find healthy variations of my favorite desserts so I can enjoy eating healthy as much as I can.
Given these points, that was what I did. At first, it was really difficult for me to eat 3-4 times per day but now I can hardly imagine how I lived without eating for such a long period. Not to mention, all the healthy desserts I made and I fell in love with them.

One of my favorite treats is pancakes. Usually, I used to eat them with lots of chocolate. I like the sweet taste so much so I needed to try something different this time. After all, I came with a healthy option and I have to say I just fell in love with it. You can find the recipe below.
I came up with so many ideas for healthy desserts. Now I can enjoy eating healthy and still be eating desserts and stay healthy at the same time. It’s really impressive how this month completely changed my eating habits.
This is the place to say that I love working out. I have always been a very active person. With the winter here was really hard to stay in shape that’s why I decided to exercise daily at home. I exercised six days per week. I use the phone app from Nike Training Club, which is great because it makes a personal training program depending on how much do you want to exercise, where do you want to exercise and what equipment do you have.
This time I really wanted try other things too. Here’s the place to thank my friend Bianca because she introduced me to her project Balanced Bellas where they have amazing workout plans for every level of activity! After performing their exercises I was feeling absolutely great! I highly recommend this program! There you can also find great healthy recipes!
In the middle of the month, I had so much other work to do. I had a really tight time frame to exercise that’s why I needed to try something different. I started reading more and more about HIIT and it was the perfect fit for me. High-Intensity Interval Training was keeping me in great shape for a short time of 10 to 15 minutes per day. I am going to share more with you of my new obsession HIIT in another post because there’s so much to say about it.
If you are reading my blog for some time now you maybe know that I love walking so much! That’s why I decided to start a challenge – to walk 10 000 steps per day. I did it and I am so proud of myself. Although the weather was awful I started walking more even at home while watching something on the TV. I know it may sound really crazy but it kept me in a great form. If you want to learn more you can check the challenge below.
Another thing I wanted to implement in my daily healthy life was stretching. I find stretching really important for your overall health. Many people think that stretching is only for people, who exercise. Guess what – it’s not. It is for everybody – you should do it too! Sometimes all you need is a good stretch!

Living healthy is a mixture of eating healthy, exercising, walking, stretching, thinking positive, reducing stress and sleeping well. Having a positive attitude is really important when you start a new lifestyle. My tip here is to think about your overall health, not only for weight loss. Think about how many benefits are there for your health!
Try reducing the stress as much as you can! When I felt bad or stressed I was doing some yoga, meditation or a long walk! Find what makes you feel calm and relaxed and do it every time when you feel the stress kicking out in your body and mind!
Many people asked me about how I improved my sleep. The answer is easy – food, exercise and reducing stress levels helped me a lot. Another thing I did was to read or listen to a calm music for 10 to 15 minutes before sleep.
Here is the place to mention how important hydration is for your overall health. Do you know how many illnesses are caused by dehydration in your body? Yes, that’s true!
I know how many people struggle with drinking enough water daily that’s why I created a post, where you can find all the benefits of drinking water. You will also find many tips and tricks to start your healthy relationship with water. You can see the post below.
