This is not a post against the CBD oil, it is more about the benefits of the oil. I am a positive person and I always tend to see the good side of people, situations and things. I just want to introduce you this oil and its possible benefits for your health.

I want to mention that I’ve never used a CBD oil in my life but I know many people that use it and this article is based on a research and opinions of people who use it. At the end of the day, I am not a medical expert. I am just a curious girl who wants to be informed and share that information with you.

So, let’s talk about CBD oil!

What exactly is CBD oil?

Let’s start with the basics. CBD oil is also known as Cannabidol, which is a popular remedy used for treating many conditions. This is one of the 104 chemical compounds known as cannabinoids. Many people think this is something like marijuana but it is not the same, although it is an extract from the plant. It has one of the main parts called Tetrahydrocannabinol. CBD oil is NOT psychoactive such as the marijuana. It does not have the mind-altering effects of marijuana. Trust me, I am SO AGAINST marijuana psychoactive effects! CBD is discovered long ago in 1940.

The last few years there is a hype about the CBD oil and its effects on certain conditions. I was really amazed to find out that many people I know actually use it and they are happy with the results.

Recently I watched a TV show that was about CBD oil. That was the moment I decided to search through and find the most useful information for you and share it with you.

What is CBD oil used for:

Pain Relieve

The number one reason people use CBD oil is to relieve pain. Some researchers have found that some components of CBD are actually having a painkiller effect. CBD can reduce inflammation and impact the chronic pain. A research says that it affects in a good way people with arthritis and multiple sclerosis.

Reduces anxiety and depression

I can’t remember reading about CBD oil when I had my anxiety and depression. But today you can find this oil as an option for certain mental health disorders. This appears as a more natural option when it comes to antidepressants and benzodiazepines in treating anxiety and depression. There are many researches made with people who suffer from anxiety and depression and the results are amazing. There’s even one research that shows great effects on children with insomnia and anxiety. It is also known that CBD has an ability to act on the brain’s receptors for serotonin, which regulates the mood and your overall behavior.

Reduces acne

Acne is an actual problem for many people. It affects a huge percent of people overall. There are many reasons that can cause your acne such as bacteria, overproduction of sebum, genetics, etc. CBD has an anti-inflammatory function, which causes less sebum production.

Helps you quit smoking and drug withdrawals

A study shows that people who use CBD oil smoke fewer cigarettes than usual. They have no hunger for nicotine. It shows that it could be something that can change the world of the cigarette smokers and therefore the world of drug addicted people. But of course, there are many other future researches to be made. It sounds promising so far.

Epilepsy

CBD oil is an approved method to be used in treating two specific epilepsy conditions – Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome and Dravet Syndrome. These two conditions are hard to be treated with other kind of medication.

Fighting cancer

The TV show I told you earlier about was exactly about CBD and fighting cancer. Some authors published that there is an evidence that proves CBD can prevent the spreading of cancer. CBD helps to stop the spreading and actually destroys the cancer cells in the body. There are many other researches to be done but this sounds really promising.

There are so many positive researches for CBD oil. I wonder if it would be established as a remedy to treat even more and serious health conditions. Let’s hope this will be the answer to many prayers!

After talking about all the positive effects of CBD oil I also want to mention the side effects. There are, of course, many studies not only about the positive uses of the oil but also about the side effects. The researches don’t find any significant side effects from the CBD oil, even when it is used in high doses. The one thing that occurs as a side effect in the researches is tiredness. A really really small percentage report about having a diarrhea and some small changes in the appetite.

If you consider using CBD oil you should first talk to your doctor or a medical specialist. As we said CBD oil is only approved for two very specific epilepsy conditions. And if everything’s alright and you decide to use it after all please use only verified CBD oil.

I hope that post helped you understand better what’s all the hype about CBD oil, its uses and side effects. Also I would love to learn if you or someone you know have ever used CBD oil? I am curious to know what was he/she using it for and what were the effects if any?
